About

Symphony Blue is a recent graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied acting in the Experimental Theatre Wing (ETW), Lee Strasberg Studio, and Stonestreet Film & TV Studio.

She began to write and stage her works while she was in middle school and went on to study her craft in the Arts Academy of Lakewood High School. While there, she staged her first solo-piece 10 Minutes to Heaven. This encouraged her to study at South Coast Repertory. Soon after, she attended USC’s Summer Arts Intensive where her work was included in the Roger Guenveur Smith’s one man show, Fredrick Douglass, later produced by Spike Lee. Upon graduating from Lakewood High, she was awarded Arts Academy Star Student of the class.

At New York University she wrote for the Black Sheep satirical newspaper and gained over 15,000 readers between her first three articles. While being the a head of Fusion Film Festival at NYU, she was recruited by the Will and Jada Smith Foundation to be their digital media intern for the summer of 2018. This landed her a spot in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Academy Rising Program where she was mentored by JoBeth Williams and Laura Dern. Her most recent project completed is a USC grad film.

When she is not obsessing over acting, you can find her running her online boutique, vlog, and Youtube channel.
